Posterior urethral valves involve a wide spectrum of clinical presentations and represent a common cause of severe urinary tract obstruction.

While most cases are diagnosed before or shortly after birth, some are more subtle in their presentation. The therapeutic and surgical approach to boys with posterior urethral valves requires an understanding of the pathophysiology and specialized surgical skills. Furthermore, interdisciplinary, lifelong management involving nephrologists is key to optimizing the final outcomes for these patients.

This URO webinar will comprise of lectures by international experts in the field. They will present important insights on the diagnosis, pathophysiology, and management of posterior urethral valves, from neonate to adult.
