Although not recommended in all men, some will benefit from urodynamic examination before surgical treatment. Persistence of LUTS after prostatic intervention is surprisingly common and the potential reasons will be examined. A joint ESFFU/ESUO faculty will review these key aspects of male LUTS management and will further discuss the topic with real-life clinical cases.
