ESU introduces new mHSPC e-course
The newly-published e-course covers the definition, classification, and heterogeneity of metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC).
Today marks the launch of the e-course “Metastatic Hormone-Sensitive Prostate Cancer” the 3rd in the series “Advanced Prostate Cancer”. The European School of Urology (ESU) offers an array of popular digital activities such as these to bolster the knowledge of young and experienced urologists alike.
The newly-published e-course covers the definition, classification, and heterogeneity of metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC). Through this e-course, you will know more about the diverse features and outcomes of mHSPC in various patient populations with a particular focus on updated treatment guidelines.
The e-course is comprised of 4 chapters:
- Chapter 1: Definition and classification
- Chapter 2: Clinical evaluation
- Chapter 3: Treatment
- Chapter 4: Follow-up and surveillance strategies
The e-course is recognised by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) with 2 European CME credits (ECMEC®) and will take approximately 120 minutes to complete.

About the series
Developed under the guidance and expertise of EAU PCa Guidelines Panel Chair Prof. Dr. Nicolas Mottet (FR), the e-course series “Advanced Prostate Cancer” provides developments on androgen deprivation therapy (ADT); hormone-sensitive metastatic (mPCa) and non-metastatic prostate cancer (nmPCa); metastatic (mCRPC) and non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (nmCRPC).
The series consists of 5 courses that deliver information on diagnostic tools, prognosis and predictive factors, patient stratification, and treatment options for patients with mPCa, nmPCa, mCRPC or nmCRPC. The courses are designed to evaluate a participant’s ability to apply newfound knowledge in devising care pathways for patients.
